Request NCDMV Driver Records
NCDMV online driver-record requests require first and last name, date of birth, NC driver license or ID number, and SSN, ITIN, or U.S. Visa number. If the requester is not the license holder, that person must provide a valid NC driver license or ID when ordering online. Certified out-of-country driving records require a raised seal and cannot be obtained online. Mail requests require the form and payment, and NCDMV says to allow 10 business days after receipt.
